Community-Based Mentorship for Women Business Owners
The Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce is excited to be partnering with WeBC to bring a Peer-Mentor Program to Abbotsford.
What if you had a group of women entrepreneurs who you could turn to for feedback and fresh perspectives on your business opportunities and challenges? As part of a Peer Group, you'll connect with an experienced entrepreneur who has been there, gets the grind and shares her knowledge so you don't have to learn the hard way. With a group of fellow entrepreneurs supporting you, you'll gain the clarity to focus on what really matters, and feel more confident making decisions for the future.
We are now accepting applicants for the Community Mentorship Program running from January 28th-March 4th. If selected, you and 7 other women business owners and will be personally mentored by Kristina Bradley owner of Nurse Next Door South Fraser and CEO of Hire A Caregiver HQ Corp!
Each session provides the opportunity to connect with other women entrepreneurs to support and encourage one another to stay motivated, and boost your business skills on topics that you can apply to your business. In this structured program, you learn from the experience of your mentor, while benefiting from the diverse viewpoints of the other group members, each with different strengths.
Cost:
Due to grant funding from the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy, the program is FREE!
Eligibility:
All Applicants must:
- Identify as a woman, over the age of 19,
- Be actively operating a business in BC that generates revenue
- Be in the first five years of operating her business
