Abbotsford Provincial Candidates Go on the Record on Business and Community Priorities

With British Columbians heading to the polls on October 24, the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and its community partners have released the 2026 Provincial Election Abbotsford Business Community Report, outlining where local candidates stand on the issues shaping Abbotsford’s economic future.

The report features responses from candidates across Abbotsford’s three provincial ridings: Abbotsford-Mission, Abbotsford South and Abbotsford West, with BC NDP, BC Conservative and CenterBC candidates from each riding submitting joint responses.

Candidates were asked 24 questions covering business competitiveness, taxation, agriculture, public safety, housing affordability, infrastructure, workforce development and community growth.

The report is in partnership with the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce, the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, UFV Student Union Society, Abbotsford Downtown Business Association, Fraser Valley Indo-Canadian Business Association and Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Fraser Valley.

Read the full report and explore candidate responses ahead of October 24.
